Today in conference at facebook headquarter former CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduce Facebook's new search feature called Graph Search.CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the company has been working on Graph Search for years, and claims it offers something that no other service can. Zuckerburg made it clear that this isn’t a Web search services. While Facebook says users can only search for content that has been shared with them, it is possible to search for things such as “TV shows watched by doctors” or “Music liked by people who like Mitt Romney” or even “Languages my friend speaks”.

Till today users are using for search a person or page but now on words they can search about hotels and other things like by there friends. these service is available to limited number of users but it will extended to all in the future.

Graph search

The company is betting that its users are more eager to hear their friends' recommendations for a restaurant than advice from a professional food critic or from a stranger on Yelp. The search tool is based on the premise that the data within Facebook.Graph search is aimed at answering questions based on the data contained in your social network, not serving you a list of links to other websites.

Anything that Facebook launches will most likely result in some scrutiny by privacy advocates. In a means of pre-emptively addressing these concerns, the social network uploaded a video that it hopes will assuage people’s fears:The company emphasized that Facebook recently updated its privacy settings where users can control what’s being seen. Before the new search tool rolls out, users will get a nudge: "Please take some time to review who can see your stuff," it will read. Facebook tweaked its privacy controls last December.

From above explanation you have brief idea about what is Graph search. if you have some thing regarding this post comment in the comment section below the post. if like then share the post with your friend so that they can also know about Facebook new search features.

some of us, users, may want to think twice before trusting our personal information. But since it’s usually after some database has been hacked that we realize this, it doesn’t hurt to start effecting changes in our often overlooked surfing habits. Not all our habits are dangerous but some could potentially cost us our credit card information or worse. A good way to protect our information on the web is to surf the web anonymously, like using Google Chrome’s Incognito mode. there are many browser available but only some of browser support Private browsing.
To do Private Browsing and also bypass your college firewall protection you can use these browser which help you to bypass and also give you facility to surf internet anonymously.

Tor or The Onion Router is, according to its own site, “free software and an open network” that basically defends you against network surveillance or traffic analysis. To allow anonymous surfing, this open-source tool re-routes network traffic through Tor nodes, which are Tor-running computers owned by volunteers from all over the world. Not only does Tor bring anonymous internet surfing to your browser, it can also hide your country of origin for any application, prevent websites from tracking users (and their physical location) and help users bypass websites blocked by their Internet service providers (ISPs) or government.

anonymous web browsers

The Tor Browser Bundle includes Mozilla Firefox, which is usually fairly fast, but with Tor, it will be a little slow as all traffic needs to pass through different Tor nodes before being displayed on your browser. Other than Tor being a bit slow, which is inevitable, Tor also blocks websites with flash content and that require browser plugins, like Java and ActiveX, since these can be manipulated into revealing a user’s IP address. The rewards can totally outweigh these drawbacks though.

free anonymous web browsers

If you regularly use Google Chrome, but aren’t so comfortable with Google knowing your every move on the Internet, you might want to try SRWare’s Iron web browser. Both Google Chrome and SRWare Iron are based on the open source Chromium project, so you’ll notice few differences. On the internal side, Iron, of course, has disabled Chrome’s information-collecting features, such as URL-tracker, error reporting, etc. which Google needs to improve our favorite search engine. Aside from internal differences, Iron works pretty much the way you’re used to in Chrome. Chrome extensions and themes will also work on Iron. To check it out in Windows (portable version available), head to the website.

Patent War Between Top Companies

In News you have heard many news about some patent cases and wars between apple and samsung and apple and Nokia.  thats why i am going to tell you what is this and top  wars between the Smartphone companies. The global Smartphone industry is booming and so is the competition. The major manufacturers in the industry are waging wars with each other over patent infringement. Here we bring to you five of the biggest legal battles fought (or being fought) over patents in the Smartphone industry.

Apple Vs Nokia

In October 2009, Finnish handset maker Nokia sued Apple in a US District Court over alleged infringement of its wireless standards. The iPhone maker countersued and kept the two embroiled in litigation for a year and a half. In June 2011, Apple agreed to pay an undisclosed sum as part of a settlement agreement and royalties for the use of parts of Nokia's patents.

Apple Vs Samsung

In April 2011, Apple claimed Samsung Electronics infringed on its patents with some Android-powered Galaxy phones and tablets. Samsung countersued, and the two companies have become entangled in more than 20 cases in 10 countries. US District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California, granted pre-trial injunctions against the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy Nexus phone last week. Samsung is appealing both injunctions. A trial on the patent infringement claims related to the Tab 10.1 and other phones is scheduled for July 30.

Apple Vs Htc

Apple initiated the war against HTC in March 2010 when it sued Taiwan's HTC over 20 patents dealing with user interface and its operating system. Along with this, Apple filed a complaint with US International Trade Commission, again targeting the Android software behind HTC's smartphones. The International Trade Commission issued an injunction in late 2011 to halt imports of HTC's infringing smartphones (One X and EVO 4G LTE) from April. Shipments of the two smartphones to US were delayed. Apple has filed at least two additional complaints with the International Trade Commission demanding emergency action against more than 25 HTC devices.

Apple Vs Motorola

Motorola Mobility entered the battlefield in October 2010 when it filed a suit against Apple in what was widely considered a pre-emptive strike. Apple countersued the same month. However, Judge Richard Posner in Chicago cancelled the trial that was set to occur in June, and rejected each side's injunction requests. Motorola was acquired by Google in May 2012.

i hope this make you clear and give you good info about wars between top manufacturing companies. if you like this post feel free and share with it your friends..

Android ICS 4.0 Has New Functionality called NFC.  but what is it? And how it work?  With its update and new features Google have introduced new Near Field Communication (NFC).

What is NFC ?

Android NFC
So you know what NFC stands for, but what is it really about and how does it work? Near field communication, is a short-ranged wireless communications standard that allows two devices to exchange data when in the proximity of each other. Yes, NFC is similar to Bluetooth technology if you will, allowing two devices to interact with each other. in order for NFC features to be available on smartphones and tablets, those mobile devices need to contain a NFC chip that would handle any NFC communications. Therefore, if your current Android handset or tablet does not have one such chip inside, it won’t be able to handle mobile payments and offer other NFC-based features.

NFC Vs Bluetooth 4.0

There are various wireless technologies that can be found on modern mobile devices, including cellular connectivity (3G, 4G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. However, it’s just the last two thatwork exclusively in close proximity (from a few centimeters to a few meters), while the first two offer wireless connectivity over larger distances.NFC is better than Bluetooth when it comes to mobile payments and other activities, as it will use less power and it will instantly pair with the other NFC-ready device. Furthermore, NFC operates on a much lower frequency (13.56MHz) compared to Bluetooth (2.4-2.5GHz).Bluetooth on the other hand offers support for higher data transfer speeds.Bluetooth 4.0 is the latest standard version of this communications protocol and it’s also known as Bluetooth Low Energy, because it’s more battery-friendly.NFC works only in very close proximity, up to 20cm (7.87 inches) in theory, although its actual optimal operating distance is somewhere around 4cm (1.57 inches) or less.On the other hand, Bluetooth can pair devices up to 50 meters apart.

There is some useful Tips For use of NFC Must Watch Video...

NFC Android Devices

In case you’re looking for a NFC-ready Android smartphone right now, should check out these various devices from top Android makers:
  • Samsung: Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy S2, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S/Nexus S 4G, Galaxy S Blaze 4G, Galaxy S Advance
  • HTC: Amaze 4G, EVO 4G LTE, One X
  • Sony: Xperia S, Xperia P
  • Huawei: Sonic
While these devices come with NFC on board in theory, you should make sure the device you choose actually has NFC on board, as NFC support varies depending on the region where the device is sold.

This shows that the use of NFC can be taken to a whole new level in the future, once enough NFC-ready devices will be available in the wild.
Furthermore, given the open nature of Android, you may find yourself customizing your NFC-enabled smartphone to perform a variety of custom actions in certain locations.
