Writing a blog that people want to read is unlike any other type of writing. Your writing style and tone play a significant part in attracting visitors and encouraging them to click around and read more of your blog posts as well as to come back again.

Blog writing doesn't require you to follow every grammar rule and allows flexibility so you can communicate with your readers in a way they'll understand and respond to. However, there are some simple tricks you can use in your writing to improve it for an audience who likes to read online content, particularly blog content.
Following are five easy ways to write better blog posts so people want to read more of your content and come back again and again.

1. Start with Your Most Important Point
Don't waste a reader's time with a lengthy introduction. Instead, get right to the point and communicate your most important message first. In other words, write like a journalist by leading strong and ending with the least important details. That way, if a person only reads the first paragraph (or first sentence) he'll have enough vital information to understand the basic story and to decide if he wants to keep reading.

2. Write for Your Audience
Who is your target audience? Who do you want to read your blog? That's who you should be writing blog posts for. If a blog post wouldn't be meaningful, useful, educational, or entertaining to your audience, publish something else that they would find value in. If you're not meeting their wants and needs through your content, they won't want to stick around, come back, or tell anyone else about your blog. In other words, write like a copywriter and write for your audience.

3. Be Brief

Blog posts should be succinct. Most blog readers don't want to read lengthy posts, so keep your post length to a manageable amount for people to digest in just a few minutes. Review the secrets of blog post length, so you focus on creating content that matches your audience's expectations and preferences. This applies to your overall blog post length as well as to paragraph length. Long blocks of text are overwhelming online, so use a lot of short paragraphs, headings, and bulleted lists.

4. Stay Focused

What is your blog topic? Stick to it. If your writing veers off in too many directions, visitors won't know what to expect from you. They're coming to your blog to read about a specific topic. If you change topics every day or in each post, they won't want to try to weed through the clutter to find the posts that interest them. Therefore, it's critical that you stay focused on your topic in your blog post content.

5. Simplify Your Writing
Most blog readers expect content to be quick and easy to read. They're not looking for research papers, so write in a personable style and use words that match a young reading level. Writing at a fourth grade reading level might seem shocking,Take some time to consider your blog topic, your target audience, and your goals, and then write at a reading level that matches. Keep in mind, this trick depends very much on your blog topic and target audience. For example, the writing in a blog about neuroscience with a target audience of PhD students would need to match the expectations of that audience.

How many times have you visited a website and ended up sorely disappointed?
Or worse, annoyed as all get out? For me, the answer is an easy one: a lot!
So, I put together a list of the 5 things that annoy me the most about websites.

Maybe you’ll agree; maybe you won’t.
Let’s see…

1. Flash

Your “awesome” Flash website takes forever to load and then blasts user with all these neat-o visuals that require them to twiddle their thumbs and waste precious time. They need information, not entertainment. Get over yourselves. Quit listening to your creative team (and if they’re recommending Flash, hire a new team), and maximize the three seconds of attention I’m willing to give you by telling me something I want or need to know.

2. Pop-ups
Pop-up ads (and that’s what they are) make me want to kill you. Yeah, I know they’re effective at boosting click-through rates. I still hate ‘em. Stop it. Using pop-up ads tells me you don’t care about my experience—you just want to sell me crap. It’s like going on a first date, and having the date say, “Let’s fool around” before dinner hits the table. It’s too much. Too soon. I don’t care what the experts say. Pop-up ads make me want to leave.

3. Walking Ads
Speaking of pop-ups, walking ads stink even more. They are annoying, disruptive, and inconsiderate. They came to your site for information. You only have one chance to make a good first impression, and walking ads are not the way to do it. It’s a bad idea.

4. Black Backgrounds
Black backgrounds and white or grey type are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to read. With very few exceptions (there are some sites done very well by people who know what they’re doing, but they are rare), cut it out. Black backgrounds stink. And if you thinks those backgrounds are cool, do your homework. Ask people who know about converting the leads that come to your website to sales about the performance of sites with dark backgrounds. After all, isn’t that what you’re really interested in—leads that you can convert to sales?

5. Widgets
when User visit your blog and if he want more information then this annoying share widget takes to much time and user frustrate and if he can not wait to much time to open page it will increase your blog bonus rate.and dam sure he wont back on your  blog.so this attractive widget or templates won't work but your information makes more effect on user mind and definitely it comes again to your blog.some time due to problems social gadget won't load and display error so it makes bad effect on user mind.

Final Words.

Don’t be egocentric when it comes to Web design. Know who your audience is and what people come to your site looking for. Or what you want them to come to your site looking for. Let your Web analytics play a huge rule in this process. Focus on creating auser experience that respects users’ needs and makes it easy for them to find the information they seek. Make sure your site has a navigation system that makes sense. Great design is cool. And cool is nice. But that isn’t enough when it comes to effective online marketing. A beautifully designed website that has a crappy user experience serves up zero results.

Hello Friendz Today I am Taking about failure in blogging...
why blog author fail in blogging???  what they can avoid ??
and what major factor which affect the image of blog ???
There are a lot of posts written about blogging success, but perhaps not quite as many written on why blogs fail. Since I believe failure is such a great part of the entrepreneurial learning process

1.Not having a plan. Your blog just be a business some day, but you should run it like one now. That means spend time writing down your goals (like physically writing them down!) about where you hope to be in a month, six months, a year, etc.

2.Bad design. Having a site that projects the wrong image can be like trying to open a 5-star restaurant in a strip-mall. Possible? Sure. Likely to succeed? Probably not.

3.Too many ads. Corbett Barr of Think Traffic likes to start his students on a “no ads” blogging approach, only adding them in when the blogs are ready. “Ready” is obviously subjective, but it seems to me like having fewer than 2,000 visits a day might be pushing it.

4.Not cross-linking your posts. Blogging—and the web, if you think about it—is ALL about links. Don’t go overboard, but remember that once you get someone on your site, you don’t want them to leave. Link to old posts, new ones, and pages on your site they might enjoy. Lead them to your product, if you have one.

5.Having a site that looks like an MFA (Made-for-AdSense) site. Unless, of course, you’re solely trying to blog for profit (nothing wrong with that, but it’s much harder to do when it’s a personal blog). If your design reeks of over-the-top AdSense ads, banners, and in-text link ads, it’s distracting and off-putting for visitors.

6.Bad SEO. Sure, you might not be trying to focus on organic search results for your “personal experiences” blog, but there’s a reason Google’s algorithm is such a proprietary equation: it KNOWS what’s good and bad, when it comes to content. If you haven’t taken at least a little time to optimize your content for a few keywords and add links, it can seem stale, vague, and boring for your readers.

7.Bad writing style. Your writing should certainly reflect who you are, but I doubt you talk in long-winded paragraphs. You probably also don’t sound like an advanced legal professor—tone it down, trim it down, and let us “hear” who you are.

8.Being annoying. Some bloggers have an “air” of rudeness to their writing—let them do it, because they’ve figured out how. For you, it’s better to be nice, humble, and kind—especially to your commenters.

9.Not guest posting. Guess what? The best way of generating traffic, attention, and leading visitors back to your site is free. It’s called guest posting, and if you’ve not really put in the time to try it, check out Jon Morrow’s course at www.guestblogging.com (yeah, I know I just said not to grab at the shiny objects, but at least check out his free videos. He has quite a story, too!).

10.Not writing enough. Back to #1 and #25, if you feel stuck, write. If you feel like quitting, write. If you feel like you’ve made it (yay! My post just went live on ProBlogger!) write. There’s never enough you can write—since blogging is directly monetized through words, you need more of them to make more of it.

There you go—10 things to go work on right now. And I do realize there are more—many more. Let’s get it going in the comments section and see what else you can come up with (and what I forgot!).
